Are your boiler support rods carrying the
Load they were originally intended to carry? Most likely not.
The fact is, while boiler support rods are
originally designed to carry a specified load, those specifications can,
over time, degrade.
The result? High stress concentrations which can
lead to permanently deformed headers and an increased chance of tube
weld cracking.
B&D Bolting, tooling and methods are able to
measure the weight of individual rods to determine the supported loads
at each location as well as a combined component load. Using a multiple
tooling setup, B&D Bolting is then able to hydraulically balance and
properly distribute the load according to the original boiler design.
